Ken King Endorsed By Texas Oil & Gas Association Good Government Committee

Republican State Representative Ken King today announced he has been endorsed by the Texas Oil and Gas Association Good Government Committee, the political action committee of the Texas Oil and Gas Association. King represents House District 88, encompassing Armstrong, Bailey, Briscoe, Castro, Cochran, Donley, Gray, Hale, Hansford, Hemphill, Hockley, Lamb, Lipscomb, Ochiltree, Roberts, Swisher, and Yoakum counties.

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of such a strong pro-business group,” King said. “They represent some of our state and our district’s largest employers. They are vital to job creation and successful economic growth.”

The Texas Oil and Gas Association Good Government Committee is the political action committee of the Texas Oil and Gas Association. They seek to promote a strong oil and gas industry through fact-based policies and free-market principles. With 5,000+ members, they represent nearly 90% of Texas’ oil and gas professionals and businesses.

King is a member of the House Energy Caucus and operates energy service businesses himself, creating hundreds of local jobs. Named a “2017 Effective Conservative” by the Conservative Roundtable of Texas, King has received an A-rating from the National Rifle Association and the Texas State Rifle Association. He has also been proudly endorsed by Texas Alliance for Life, LifePAC, the Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND, and the Texas Association of Realtors TREPAC.

A former Canadian ISD School Board President and current Chairman of the House Public Education Subcommittee on Teacher Quality, King is one of Texas’ top education champions – working to resource rural schools, look after current and retired teachers, and ensure students receive a first-rate education.

Ken and his wife, Robin, raised their two kids in Canadian, Texas, where they are active members of First United Methodist Church. Ken and Robin also co-founded KK-125, an Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
